Confirmed that a total of 32 containers have been recovered. Environmental risks are under control, with 1 minor injury. The investigation is still ongoing, and the compensation mechanism is yet to be announced. The details are as follows:
1) A total of 32 containers have been salvaged or recovered, including at least 2 sunken containers. The remaining 25-30 sunken boxes have been located using sonar and are still being continuously salvaged.
2) The clean air barge fuel tank, damaged in the accident, leaked approximately 2,000 gallons of renewable diesel, but it has been contained by fencing, and the port has confirmed that there has been no further spread.
3) The United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have jointly launched an investigation, initially determining that two stacking areas on the ship collapsed, with the cause of the accident yet to be confirmed. The union has stated that the dock workers operated correctly.
4) The PierG operations are gradually resuming, and other terminals are operating normally. The capacity of the ZEX route has not been affected, and booking is open as usual. The next ZY6 vessel will dock at the TraPac terminal.

1. Cargo owner/Client
1) 90% of EXPPlus priority cargo has been unloaded and is available for normal pickup. 2) The remaining cargo will be unloaded by mid-September, and full pickup will resume early next week. 3) The list of water-damaged and destroyed container numbers has been sent via email to the booking party. 4) The compensation plan will be announced uniformly after the investigation is completed, and the handling of overdue fees has not yet been clarified.

2. Ports and Environment
1) PierG has temporarily suspended operations, while other terminals continue to operate through emergency scheduling. 2) A 500-meter safety zone has been established at the port to prevent secondary incidents. 3) The risk of oil leakage is controllable, with no further pollution incidents.
3. Shipping Industry and Market
Star publicly emphasized: This incident does not affect the overall capacity allocation of the ZEX route. In the short term, Pier G sailing schedules may be limited, and some voyages may temporarily dock at other terminals.

On the afternoon of September 11 local time, Star Shipping held an online briefing with the theme "Emergency Information on the Port of Los Angeles Incident." The meeting specifically reported the latest developments regarding the "Mississippi" container falling into the sea accident.

In the live broadcast, Xing announced: the specific disposal plan for 75 sunken containers; the保障措施 for affected goods; and the arrangements for subsequent voyages.

3. September 10
The South China customer service team has completed the first round of inspection of damaged containers and has issued a special notice to the cargo owners. The USCG and NTSB have announced the initiation of an investigation.

At 8:45 AM, while the "Mississippi" was operating at Pier G in the Port of Los Angeles, 75 containers fell into the sea from the port side.
25–30 items sank to the bottom of the water, while the rest floated, with some damaged goods scattered on the sea surface, forming a 1.2-kilometer floating zone.
The falling container struck the clean air barge, causing a fuel leak.
The Hong Kong side has suspended Pier G operations, and the USCG has established a 500-yard safety zone.
The Star Shipping customer service team initiated a Level 1 response within two hours and notified customers via email.
